How reproduction works

Reverse engineer what exists

We start with the original part when possible — 3D scanning, measurements, and CAD in Fusion 360 — so the reproduction matches fit and function, not just appearance.

Prototype with 3D printing

3D printing services let us prove geometry and assembly early with SLA or FDM before you commit to a finished reproduction part.

Reproduce or restore

Some jobs call for a new replica; others need careful repair and refinish of the original. We will tell you which path makes sense for dashes, trim, brackets, covers, and other components.

What are reproduction parts?

Reproduction parts are newly made replicas of components that are no longer available from the original manufacturer. We reverse engineer and fabricate them so discontinued equipment can keep running.

Can you reproduce a part from a damaged original?

Often yes. We can 3D scan what remains, rebuild the geometry in CAD, and produce a reproduction part — or repair and refinish the original when that is the better path.
